On Thursday, director Aditya Dhar received a legal relief after a Mumbai civil court refused to stay the OTT release of Dhurandhar The Revenge amid allegations that the film was based on a copied script. Writer Santosh Kumar RS had approached the court in March, seeking an ad-interim injunction against the film’s digital release, claiming that Dhar had used elements from his original script. However, the court rejected the plea, allowing the film’s digital roll out to proceed as scheduled (June 5). The film was released in theatres on March 19.
