  Delhi NCB team to probe Aryan Khan's Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case

  NCB deputy director general Mutha Ashok Jain said that an operation team in Delhi will probe the Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case. He added that Sameer Wankhede will not be supervising the case anymore but will remain the NCB Mumbai zonal director and will supervise other cases. Wankhede said the move is a “coordination” between NCB teams of Mumbai and Delhi. Notably, the Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case created buzz due to the arrest and over 20-day custody of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan.

  233 cases filed against those  who burst firecrackers in Tamil Nadu

  As many as 233 cases have been lodged against individuals, who burst firecrackers on Diwali and 246 people have been arrested so far, TS Anbu, IG of south zone, told news agency ANI. In addition, 809 cases have been registered against persons for driving under the influence of alcohol, Anbu added to ANI.

  I-T dept seizes unaccounted cash, jewellery from J&K and Punjab

  The Union finance ministry said that the Income Tax Department has seized unaccounted cash of ₹63 lakh and jewellery of ₹2 crore in search operations conducted on October 28 in Jammu and Kashmir, and Punjab in connection with cases of persons engaged in the business of processing and trading of dry fruits.
