A fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in Rajasthan on Saturday. No loss of life was reported.
A MiG 21 T-69 trainer aircraft took off from the Uttarlia airbase near Barmer and crashed after noon.
“Both pilots ejected safely. There was no reported damage to civil or service property,” said the defence ministry in a statement.
No damage on the ground was reported, Ojha said, adding that a court of inquiry has been ordered into the incident.

{{/usCountry}}Gagandeep Singla, Barmer superintendent of police, said: “The plane crashed at an open field near Malio ki Dhani, about 20km from the city. There is no information of any loss of life or property so far.”
A MiG-27 aircraft crashed in a residential area of Jaipur on June 13, with the pilot ejecting safely. The aircraft was on a routine training sortie.
