More than 20 children injured after school bus collides with truck in Hisar

Police has registered a case against the truck driver, who fled the spot soon after the accident

More than 20 children, aged between 5 to 10 years, were injured on Thursday, after the private school bus they were travelling in collided with a truck on the Hisar-Rajgarh road. Poor visibility due to dense fog is said to be the cause of the accident.

The children were rushed to a private hospital. Police has registered a case against the truck driver, who fled from the spot soon after the accident. The school bus driver, who fractured his leg in the accident, was taken to a local general hospital.

According to information, the bus of an Aadarsh private school was on its way to school, carrying more than 20 children. As the school bus reached Chaudharywas village, a speeding truck collided head-on with the bus. The villagers rushed the spot and began rescuing the children.
