The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS’) ideologue P Parameswaran died early on Sunday. The Padma Vibhushan awardee and Padma Shri recipient from Kerala was 93 years old.
Parameswaran became an RSS pracharak or a full-time worker at a young age.

He was the founder-director of the Bharatiya Vichar Kendra in Kanyakumari, an intellectual and research body of the Sangh Parivar.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi who called him a “guru”. said he was anguished by his death.

Parameswaran’s body will be kept at the RSS Karyalaya in Kochi and the funeral will be held in the evening.
