Pakistan on Tuesday summoned Indian deputy high commissioner, JP Singh over alleged ceasefire violations along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir.

The director general (SA & SAARC), Dr Mohammad Faisal, condemned the alleged ceasefire violations on the LoC in Thub area (Bhimber Sector) and urged the Indian side to respect the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding.
He also asked India to investigate recent incidents of ceasefire violations.
Faisal told Singh to ask the Indian forces to respect the ceasefire, in letter and spirit and maintain peace on the LoC.
