Three passengers were reported to have been injured after two bogies of New Delhi-bound Kalindi Express derailed after colliding with a goods train coming from opposite direction near Tundla junction in Uttar Pradesh on early Monday.
The accident occurred around 1.30am after the 14723 Kalindi Express had left Tundla station and was running at a speed of 25 to 30 kilometers per hour. The train collided allegedly after the driver overshoot the signal.
The track towards Delhi was damaged, which affected various trains.
Rescue teams and senior railway official have reached the spot.
The Kalindi Express moved for Delhi around 5.20am. The train track is expected to be normalised by Monday noon.
