The Aiims authorities, however, called it a routine visit.
“The minister has been admitted to Aiims for her routine knee condition under Prof Rajesh Malhotra, HOD (Orthopaedics). She also has mild hypertension for which her cardiac examination was done by Prof Ambuj Roy and her condition presently is stable and healthy,” read the official statement from Aiims.
