A 12-year-old girl was killed and four others were seriously injured when two houses collapsed due to heavy rains and thunderstorm in Mahendra Enclave area on Friday night, police said.

The girl, Gudia, who got buried in the rubble, was taken out and rushed to a hospital but doctors declared her dead on arrival, they say.
Four others, including a woman, who were injured in the incident admitted to a hospital in a critically condition.
