A 14-year-old school boy was injured on Thursday when he jumped from a car in which he was being abducted by an unidentified gang, police said.
The boy was on his way to school when he was pushed into a car by the gang members who then drove away. But the boy jumped from the vehicle when it slowed down near Agarageerangudi and escaped, police said.

He has been admitted to the Government hospital here, police said, adding, check posts have been alerted to nab the kidnappers.
