Two persons were killed and five injured, when their car collided with a school bus near Udumalpet, about 80 kms from here, in the wee hours of today, police said.

The driver and another person, sitting on the front seat of the car died on the spot, while the injured were admitted to a private hospital here.
The occupants of the car were going to attend a marriage, while the bus, carrying school students, was going to Kerala after touring Kodaikanal, when the mishap occured on Udumalpet-Palani Road, police said.
