35 day state-wide anti-terrorism campaign from Jan 12

A 35-day anti-terrorist campaign will be organised across Karnataka from January 12 to educate people, particularly students, on the evils of terrorism, higher education minister Aravind Limbavali said.

A 35-day anti-terrorist campaign will be organised across Karnataka from January 12 to educate people, particularly students, on the evils of terrorism, higher education minister Aravind Limbavali said on Saturday.

The campaign will be launched on from Manglore on that day on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary, he told reporters in Manglore.

The minister said students should not support or encourage terrorist activities and bring such activities to the notice of the police.

The campaign would culminate with a function in Bangalore on February 18, he added.
