Four persons were killed and 19 injured in two road accidents in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday, police said.

In the first incident in rural Shimla, two persons were killed and three injured when a Tata Sumo rolled down into a 200-metre deep gorge near Jundla Kainchi, about 100 km from Shimla.

The vehicle was on its way to Shimla from Rampur when the mishap took place.
In another incident two persons were killed and 16 injured when a tempo carrying pilgrims from Ludhiana to Deotsidh, the seat of Baba Balaknath temple, overturned and fell into a deep gorge near Deotsidh in Hamirpur district.
The driver of the templo fled from the scene after the accident, the police said.
