At least 50 passengers were injured, some of them seriously, when a DTC bus collided with another bus on the Delhi-Dehradun national highway, police said on Monday.

The DTC bus was on its way to Dehradun when the accident occurred on Sunday, they said.

The injured, some of whom were said to be in a serious condition, were rushed to a nearby hospital.

In another incident on the highway, a sub-inspector Raj Kumar Tyagi was killed and a policeman riding pillion injured when his motorcycle was hit by a truck, police added.
