Eight persons were killed in a road mishap early Saturday morning near Rapar town of Kutch district, police said.
The victims were returning to their home in Banaskantha district after appearing in a teachers' training exam in Kutch, they said.

The mishap occurred when the jeep they were travelling in collided with a truck.
Seven persons died on the spot while one breathed his last at a hospital.
