After heart operation, 10 kids get fresh lease of life

IAS OFFICERS’ Wives’ Association today announced if children of families living below poverty line required heart surgery, their guardians could contact office-bearers of the Association at its office in IAS Guest House, Char Imli, here.

The Association organised a successful musical programme ‘Save little hearts’ by Palak Muchchal on September 24, 2005. Cheques were given to 12 children for their heart surgery from the funds raised. Ten children and one woman have been successfully operated upon until now.

Office-bearers of the Association met the children and their guardians today to enquire about their welfare. The children were healthy and their parents happy. President of the Association Dr Seema Raizada, secretary Nishi Agrawal and joint secretary Nishat Akhtar were present on the occasion.
