Actor Ajay Devgn will show off a new look in his forthcoming film

, for which he is shooting in Goa. With diamond ear studs, tattoos and cropped hair, Devgn’s character Gopal will be seen in an edgy and rugged look this time. The look was conceptualised by director Rohit Shetty himself. Ajay’s clothes for the role have been designed by designer Naveen Shetty.
Rohit says, “I wanted all the characters to have different looks in G3. I wanted Gopal to move away from everything that he has done so far. He is a hyper, short-tempered guy and everyone is scared of him. People never know what he will laugh about or get angry about. Ajay has been working hard on his body, so we will have him flaunting his body.”
The actor’s tattoos have been designed Vishwas from Aalim’s Studio. Says Aalim, “The tattoo is of a Celtic or tribal trishul. It’s quite bold to have a tattoo on the neck, even if it’s temporary. No actor in India has done it on the neck.” Aalim continues, “We have given Ajay a buzz cut, a stubble and grungier look than he normally sports. We were waiting for all his film shoots to get over before we could give him this look as otherwise it would have led to continuity problems. He took a keen interest in the whole look and styling.”
