Expelled SP leader Amar Singh, who was taken ill during his tour to mobilise support for creation of a separate state of Purvanchal, today left for Delhi to get treatment.

Singh, the founder of Lok Manch, gave charge of the yatra to his brother Arvind Singh before leaving for Delhi.
He complained of low blood pressure and pain in the chest on Monday while travelling from Chauri to Bhadohi, his brother Arvind Singh said on Monday.
54-year-old Singh is on a 500-km-long Poorvanchal Swabhimaan Padyatra from Allahabad to Gorakhpur to mobilise support for creation of a separate Purvanchal state to be carved out of Uttar Pradesh.
Amar is likely to rejoin the yatra on December 9, party sources said.
