Four members of a family including a man, his wife and their two daughters committed suicide in their house Rajahmundry on Friday, the police said.

"Family feuds and financial problems are suspected to be the reason for committing suicide," Rajahmundry (Urban) SP Ravi Kumar Murthy said.

The deceased have been identified as R Chinnamma Naidu (29), Laxmi (25) and Teja (3) and Gayatri (1).
Naidu, who worked in a mega retail store, fed poison to three family members and hung himself to a ceiling fan, the police said.
The family had returned to the city from their native village in Srikakulam district four days ago.
Their bodies have been shifted to the Rajahmundry government general hospital for postmortem.
