To ensure better services and facilities, the Delhi Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) has taken up a road improvement project at its Bawana complex.

DSIIDC managing director Manoj Parida said 140-kilometres, which includes all master plan roads as well as the sectoral roads, are being strengthened for a total cost of Rs 69.75 crore.

The DSIIDC will use rubber-bitumen mix. Officials said the mix will increase the life of road by 2-3 years. “The rubber-mix does not allow the water to seep inside thus increasing the life of the road,” Parida said.
