Union minister and BJP candidate from Sadar Lok Sabha constituency in Delhi, Vijay Goel on Sunday continued his attack on rival Congress candidate Jagdish Tytler for allegedly being involved in the anti-Sikh riots and accused him of using improper language in a TV programme.
"I have a clean image and nobody has ever made any allegation against me, unlike Tytler who had been involved in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots," he said at a programme organised by BJP's Chartered Accountants' Cell.
He strongly objected to Tytler for allegedly using improper language against him during a TV programme in which both had participated on Saturday night.
"The type of language Tytler used during the programme was unwarranted," Goel said.
He attacked Tytler for deviating from core issues like water and electricity as both were State subjects.
"I am a local candidate and know the problems of people, unlike Tytler, who is not talking about water and electricity shortage in constituency as both these amenities fall under State Government," Goel said.
Recalling that he had earlier defeated a Congress stalwart, Goel said this time too he will achieve the feat and elaborated on the work done by him.
