BJP to organise Vande Mataram recital in Bihar

, BJP, the coalition partner of JD(U) in the state, has allotted duty to its ministers and legislators to organise public singing of the national song across the state on Thursday.

The BJP ministers in the state Cabinet, MLAs, MLCs and party office-bearers have been asked to organise programmes for singing of Vande Mataram at public places, state BJP General Secretary Giriraj Singh, MLC, said on Wednesday.

According to Singh, Ashwini Choubey will organise functions at Bhagalpur, Prem Kumar in Gaya, Janardan Singh Sigriwal in Chapra, Ramji Rishideo in Purnea, Ramchandra Sahni in Darbhnaga and Chandra Mohan Roy in Muzaffarpur.

Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi and senior state BJP leader and minister Nand Kishore Yadav are away from the state in connection with the three-day party national executive meeting at Dehradun, he added.

In Patna, the Vande Mataram singing programme will be organised by local MLAs - Arun Sinha and Nitin Navin - besides BJ minority cell president Dr Azfar Shamshi near Dak Bunglow road crossing, Singh added.

State JD(U) president Rajiv Ranjan Singh 'Lallan' said the two coalition partners - BJP and JD(U) - had separate political agenda and the state government had nothing to do with Vande Mataram recitation programme.
