A phone call warning of a bomb planted inside a cinema hall in Jetpur town here today turned out to be hoax after thorough searches, police said.

The threat call from an unidentified man claiming that there was a bomb in Chetana Talkies, was received this morning by Jetpur police station, following which cops swung into action.

A bomb and a dog squad was immediately pressed into service and thorough searches were conducted in the theatre,police said.

However, no bombs or explosives were found, they said.
