Popular actors Prithviraj and Priyamani along with film buffs left a cinema house in haste after a man created a bomb scare during the screening of Rajnikanth-starrer 'Kuchelan' in Dindigul, police said on Saturday.

One unidentified man came for the late night show on Friday with a time-piece wrapped in a piece of cloth and left it under a seat. Two minutes later, when the alarm began to "beep", he shouted "bomb, bomb" and disappeared.
As the alarm continued to beep louder, people became scared and began leaving.
Priyamani and Prithviraj, who had come for a shooting in Dindigul, also left along with other unit members.
The bomb disposal squad, who rushed to the spot, found the time-piece and removed it, police said.
