In a press statement issued here on Thursday, he said that it might be recalled that in the recent bomb blast near the mosque and the graveyard in Malegaon, in which considerable number of Muslims were killed. But the government of Maharashtra, instead of catching hold of real culprits, are arresting Muslim youths and implicating them falsely in the said case of bomb blast.

This is quite unfortunate and partisan attitude of the bureaucrats of the Maharashtra government against which the Muslims of the country are furious.

He said that while protesting on November 17, the people should wear black band and fly black flag on their houses and hold protest meetings after Friday prayers, in a democratic and peaceful manner.
