Bhandarkar has been invited by the Festival for its opening ceremony. It may be recalled that the director created ripples in the film world with his offbeat film and ever since he has been coming up with subtle and stark comments through his films on various social issues. The Festival is dedicating a section 'Leading The New Wave' to the director, who has made award winning films like

In Berlin the director will also participate in an intense dialogue with his fans and also release the new Promo cut of the film
