A cinema hall here has been sealed for allegedly showing a pornographic film and staff of the police post on the hall premises was suspended for keeping the screening under wraps, police said on Monday.

On a tip-off, a police team raided J C talkies in Nehru Chowk area on Sunday and took into custody the son of the hall owner along with two operators. The cinema hall was also sealed, Superintendent of police Tarun Gaba said.

The entire staff of the police post, including the in-charge and four constables, were suspended, the SSP added.
