The city is all set to host a corporate cricket tournament organised by the District Cricket Association. Various corporate houses, multi national companies and BPOs have been invited for the same.
Registration for the tournament to be held on November 19 is currently going on at the Tau Devi Lal stadium in sector 38. Any firm can get itself registered till November 14.
Talking about the initiative, Rahul Rao, general secretary of the District Cricket Association, said, “Gurgaon is an industrial hub but because of our busy lifestyle, we don’t get time to interact with each other. So, we decided to organise something like this to bring various firms in the city on one ground.”
We are expecting 15 to 20 teams at the event, he added.
Moreover, organisers are leaving no stone unturned to host this event at par with national or international levels.
While different colours would be assigned to the participating teams, specially-designed uniforms would also be issued with their company name, logo and player’s name.
