Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar on Wednesday said that Congress-NCP alliance should be voted to power in Maharashtra Assembly polls to retain slew of schemes announced by Centre for the development of the state.

"Central Government is taking many decisions for the benefit of women, tribals, farmers and minorities in the state. It is necessary to bring Congress-NCP government back to power in the state to get benefits of these decisions," Pawar told an election rally in Gadhinglaj and Chandgad.
Citing the details of combined manifesto of Congress-NCP for Assembly polls, he assured that farmers will get loans 4 per cent rate of interest.
