Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s early morning bike rides have sent the local police into a tizzy. They have been forced to request the family of the India skipper to inform them about his rides.
Dhoni’s love for the mean machine is well known and over the last few days, he has been seen riding to the local stadium to watch the training of young archers and footballers.
“We have informed them (family) to tell us before he goes out anywhere (so that) escort parties can accompany him,” said the Ranchi SSP, SK Singh.
Dhoni will lead the Chennai Super Kings against Titans in a CLT20 game here at the JSCA stadium on September 22. The police will have to be on their toes till September 28, the day CLT20’s Ranchi leg ends.
Last week, Dhoni had taken apart the first bike that he had bought, a Yamaha Rajdoot, for restoration and posted pictures of it on Twitter.
"I think my plan of action is to restore the 1st bike tht I bought for Rs 4500, will upload its pic maybe tomorrow. Its in a very bad shape," the indian captain had said.
