Foreigners dupe exchange house of 5,100 euro

IN A reversal of the usual, two foreign nationals duped an Indian foreign currency exchange house operator of 5,100 euros. Although the incident occurred in January it was reported to the Tukoganj police yesterday.

According to the complainant Omprakash who operates Vicemen Forex Ltd at MG Road, two foreigners came to his shop on January 20 and giving him a US $ 100 bill asked for Indian Rupees of equal denomination. After the two received the money they asked for more American currency and while the complainant was busy in counting and giving it to them
