He has worked with Stella McCartney, Hussein Chalayan, Vivienne Westwood, Krizia, Rafael Lopez, Tristan Webber and Swarovski. His collections have previously featured in Vogue Italia, MF Fashion, International Textile, Elle amongst others. He likes experimenting with textiles, innovative pattern cutting and sculptural draping.

He explores balance between paradoxical extremes, irony as a sensibility, working with ancient cultural influences in his techniques twisted to a very modern product. Gaurav was recently at World Boutique, Hong Kong held in conjunction with Hong Kong Fashion Week. His look is sophisticated but experimental, researched in depth, with his signature style of cutting categorizing it to be most 'avant garde'. His label, "atpuG varuaG" is available at Ensemble, Kimaya, Amara, Grasshopper, Sosas, Brisah, Aura and Neol Chu (Hong Kong).
