Addressing a Friday congregation at the grand mosque in Gujar Nagar, Jammu, Geelani said that though Muslims have a 160 crore population in the world and having majority Muslim population in 57 countries, they were not able to counter the US aggression.

Telling the Muslims to remember the War of Badar in which 313 Muslims overpowered an armed enemy of 900, Geelani asked the people to have
faith in the almighty while standing up against the "aggressors like USA and India."

"In the name of crushing Taliban and Al Qaeeda, they have been slaughtering innocents in Afghanistan. The massacres of Muslims in Iraq and Palestine continue unabated same is true of the Indian aggression in Kashmir," he said.
