Aamir Khan’s 3 idiots not only created history by raking in Rs 240 crore, the most by any Bollywood movie to date, it has left a huge impact on people’s psyche.
The latest to join the fan brigade of the movie is Ghaziabad administration.
The administration has sought the original copyright version of the movie to be shown to teachers and children from over 1,200 basic education schools in the district.
Ghaziabad’s Chief Development Officer (CDO) Z.B. Sagir (IAS) said, “Education and learning should be imparted in more innovative and creative manner to bear fruitful results. This is especially true for the government schoolteachers and children.”
The idea behind screening of the film was to find more Ranchos, Aamir Khan’s character in the movie, from the thousands of children in the basic education schools.
“Children’s creative mind needs to be enhanced in the positive direction since school days. With the help of the movie, we intend to change the mindset of our teachers towards this thinking,” Sagir said.
He said during meetings with basic education officials, the response to screening the movie was phenomenal and the dates for the film have been finalised for the coming week.

{{/usCountry}}“I think that educating through a movie would be a great idea as it is entertaining and also opens up a lot more ideas,” said Farzana Bi, the headmistress at Lal-quarter Primary School at Ghaziabad.
“The teachers would be able to grasp novel ways to deal with students. It would be great even if a small number benefits.”
Children, too, were every upbeat about the movie. “I have heard that the film is entertaining. I think this would also help us to make our relationship with our teacher more meaningful,” said Ishani Kumari, a Class 8 student.
