HDFC Bank Q1 net up 34 per cent at Rs 321 cr

Private sector lender HDFC Bank on Tuesday posted a 34.23 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 321.23 crore for the quarter ended June 30.

Private sector lender HDFC Bank on Tuesday posted a 34.23 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 321.23 crore for the quarter ended June 30, compared to Rs 239.30 crore for the same quarter last year.

The total income grew by 47.15 per cent to Rs 2,641.70 crore for the quarter ended June 30 from Rs 1,795.21 crore for the corresponding quarter a year ago, HDFC Bank informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 1,163 at midsession, down 0.44 per cent on BSE.
