Home Minister Shivraj Patil will visit Doda region of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday to make an assessment of the situation in the wake of massacre of 22 Hindus there.

Patil will be accompanied by Home Secretary VK Duggal and senior officials from the Home and Defence Ministries, official sources said.
Patil will also visit the hospital in Jammu where those injured in the terrorist attack are admitted.
Terrorists gunned down 22 Hindus, including a 9-year-old girl, in two villages of Doda district in J&K in the wee hours on Monday.
