Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Tuesday congratulated state hockey player Savita Poonia for her performance in the 8th Women's Hockey Asia Cup 2013 held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, recently.

Savita called on Hooda to take his blessings at his home here. The chief minister said she would be provided a government job on the basis of her achievements and as per the sports policy of the state government.
Savita represented the Indian hockey team that won the bronze medal in the Asia Cup. She was adjudged the best goalkeeper in the tournament.
