Himachal Pradesh cabinet on Wednesday unanimously adopted a resolution to recommend to the Centre to confer Rajiv Khel Ratna Award on London Olympic silver medalist shooter Subedar Vijay Kumar who hails from Hamirpur district of the state.

The cabinet also placed on record its appreciations for the outstanding performance of Vijay Kumar in London Olympics and congratulated him for winning the silver medal.
