Inter-school table tennis begins

ST PAUL, EMERALD Heights, Delhi Public School and Kasera Bazar Vidya Niketan have sailed into the last four in the interschool table tennis tournament for ?Indore Bank Trophy?. Indore District Table Tennis Association has organised the tournament at Abhay Prashal.

ST PAUL, EMERALD Heights, Delhi Public School and Kasera Bazar Vidya Niketan have sailed into the last four in the interschool table tennis tournament for ‘Indore Bank Trophy’. Indore District Table Tennis Association has organised the tournament at Abhay Prashal.

State Bank of Indore AGM Rajju Verma was the chief guest and inaugurated the tournament. Later, he was introduced to the players.

On the first day, matches (team events) were held for classes I to XII. In classes I to VI quarterfinals, St Paul defeated Amar Bagh by 3-0, while Emerald Heights International School had to fight hard before overpowering SICA by 3-2. Delhi Public School defeated Choithram School 3-1 and Kasera Bazar Vidya Niketan routed Vaishnav Academy by 3-0.

In the second round matches of classes VII to IX category, St Arnold beat Cat School ‘B’ 3-1, while Cat School ‘A’ beat Kasera Vidya Niketan by 3-1.

Ishaque Patel Public School defeated Choithram School (North Campus) by 3-2 and SICA School routed Atomic Energy School by 3-0. Choithram International School beat St Paul 3-0, whereas Agarwal Public School defeated Choithram School Manick Bagh by 3-1.
