Within two months of Nawaz Sharif's election as Pakistan's new Prime Minister, its army, along with the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and several terrorist organisations, including Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), have started creating trouble on the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri and Poonch districts.
Sources in the intelligence agencies said Pakistan's army wants to give message to the government regarding maintaining its superiority over the civil administration by fomenting trouble near the LoC.
Maj Gen SK Singh, GOC, infantry division, said it is too early to comment on Pakistan's relation with its army. But he agreed that the army, involved in machination with the terrorist groups, has often been targeting the Indian troops.
"There is no doubt that Pak commanders and the local militants are plotting against us," said the GOC. According to the intelligence agencies, LeT and HM have jointly decided to send the latter's force in J&K, as they have huge support in the state.
Sources said LeT militants along with the local intruders are also targeting the Indian soldiers, posts and civilians.
"We have received reports about terrorists' movement across the border. They were trying to trespass into our land. They started targeting our civilians when all their efforts proved futile. We will successfully handle any untoward situation," said a senior army officer.

{{/usCountry}}More than 50 militants, trained in Pakistan, have been brought near the LoC in Rajouri and in few weeks a major infiltration might occur from the district, said the intelligence agencies.
Sources added, like the January-8 incident, the Pakistan army is also planning attack by the Border Action Team (BAT). But the terrorists are not carrying arms to avoid the night surveillance.
"The infantry division, manning the LoC in Rajouri and Poonch, thinks that terrorists failing to intrude beyond the anti-intrusion obstacle systems (AIOS) might cause casualties to our troops," said the GOC.
