It's time to blood Kohli again in Tests against WI

Virat Kohli is improving everyday and has the repertoire of shots at his disposal. I believe this the right time to blood him in to Test cricket against West Indies at home. Sourav Ganguly writes.

India are already 4-0 ahead and Dhoni and his young team will surely like to complete the 'Brownwash' at the rebuilt Eden Gardens.

England have looked clueless in all the four matches so far and have not been able to sort out their run-scoring pattern.

In an ODI, you don't score runs just by hitting boundaries. A batsman has to space out his innings, sometimes by clearing the boundary rope and at other times by takings singles and doubles.

The English batsmen are playing too many dot balls and thereby putting pressure on themselves. The risky shots they are playing as a result of it is leading to their downfall.

Good to see Aaron in action
It was good to see Varun Aaron in action. He has the pace and with maturity can develop into a match-winner especially in foreign conditions. The likes of Aaron and Umesh Yadav need to be handled carefully so that the Indian bowling can emerge out of the shadow of senior pro Zaheer Khan.

The stand-out batsman has been Kohli. He is improving everyday and has the repertoire of shots at his disposal. I believe this the right time to blood him in to Test cricket against West Indies at home.

That will help him to be ready for Australia as a back-up for the big guns on that tour.
