The Xavier Labour Relation Institute (XLRI) has conferred the Sir Jehangir Ghandy Gold medal on Subir Raha, chairman and managing director of ONGC for his outstanding contribution towards industrial and social peace.
Raha received the medal from Tata Steel managing director and chairman of the board of governors of XLRI, B Muthuraman at the convocation on Sunday.
In all, 235 students received diplomas for two-year post graduate in business management and three-year post graduate in business management.
The Centre for Logistics and Transportation Management as part of its activities has designed a post-graduate certificate programme in logistics and supply chain management for working executives.
The programme is offered in collaboration with Reliance Web World during the weekends in seven major cities of the country. It was proposed to offer a similar PG certificate programme in other countries like Dubai and Singapore in the coming year.
