JK police destroys poppy crop spread over 100 acres

In its ongoing drive against poppy cultivation, Jammu and Kashmir Police along with excise department today destroyed the banned crop spread over 100 acres of land in Pulwama district.

In its ongoing drive against poppy cultivation, Jammu and Kashmir Police along with excise department today destroyed the banned crop spread over 100 acres of land in Pulwama district.

The joint teams of Police and Excise and Narcotics Central Bureau destroyed poppy cultivated spread over 100 acres of land at villages Piglana, Pruchoo, Lalgam, Nowdal, Awantipora and Authora in Pulwama district, 32 kms from here, a police spokesman said.
