Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed criticised the Pakistan government on Friday for not doing enough to support Kashmiris as he led Eid-ul-Azha prayers at Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore amid tight security.
“The Pakistani government should fully support Kashmiris in their struggle to get freedom,” he said.
The Pakistani government not only provides security to Saeed but also to his public meetings across the country, especially in Punjab.
He also said people should come forward and support the cause of Kashmiris. “India should understand what the Kashmiris want as it can no longer force them to live under its rule,” he said.
Saeed, also the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has a $10 million bounty on his head while India maintains that he is the mastermind behind 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008 -- the conspiracy for which was hatched, planned and executed out of Pakistan and claimed the lives of 166 people.
