Krisztian Pars of Hungary won the men's hammer throw gold at the London Olympics in London.
The Hungarian world silver medallist threw 80.59 metres for gold Sunday, with defending champion Primoz Kozmus of Slovenia taking the silver with 79.36.

The bronze went to Athens gold medallist Koji Murofushi of Japan, who threw 78.71.
