RJD supremo Lalu Prasad today met former party MP Mohd Shahabuddin in the divisional jail here.
Prasad spent more than an hour with Shahabuddin, who is undergoing life imprisonment in a couple of criminal cases against him, jail officials said.

Though the RJD chief described as "apolitical" his meeting with the former MP, party insiders said Prasad discussed the electoral strategy and the names of possible
candidates to be fielded in all the 8 Assembly segments in Siwan district.
The meeting comes against the backdrop of reports that Shahabuddin was not very happy with the manner the RJD chief decided the seat-sharing agreement with the LJP in Bihar.
