Laxman, Ratna to lead State handball teams

The other members of the men and women team are: Men’s team: M Venkat Rao, Dhirendr Singh Rathore, Avnisha Upadhyaya, Praveen Thakkar, Praveen Kumar, S S Patil, A Karuna, A L M Bhakshi, Jagpal Singh, Ravi Kumar, Gopal Sahu, Jay Singh, Badwal, Bhola Singh and Oscar Mojis.

Women’s team: Hema Shinde, Geeta Thakur, Keerti Godasta, Rita Chokse, Sangeeta Tiwari, Rajyashree, Prachi, Deepa, Gurpeet Kaur, Shridevi Swamy, Pragya Panwar, Psrati Thakur, Anjali and Sonam Dube. Sanjeev Haldhar and Chandrashekar Mishra would be the coaches for men and women’s team respectively.

Stadium Club in badminton final

STADIUM BADMINTON Club has entered the final in the inter-club badminton tournament organised by Indore District Badminton Association at Nehru Stadium Badminton court.

In the semifinal, Stadium Badminton Club beat Sayaji Club 2-0 to sail into the final. The final would be played on March 5. Stadium Badminton Club would clash with DRP Lines, Indore. SP Adarsh Katiyar would be the chief guest and will distribute the prizes to the winners. Custom and Central Excise Commissioner Arvind Singh would preside over the function.

MADHYA PARADESH Open Golf Tournament organised by MP Golf Association will begin at Royal Garah Golf Course on March 5. Secretary of the association Anil Duper said that nearly 60 golfers from Bhopal, Mhow, BSF and Indore would take part in the tournament.
