The CNG refill station at Bus Depot will start dispensing fuel from Monday, said a transport department official.

With this, the city will have five CNG stations. The department has also planned to open 14 more units by next year. Of them, six stations will open by the end of this year.

“Around 30-35 buses of Haryana Roadways got CNG supply during the trial run of the Bus Depot station,” said Yashender Singh, general manager, transport department.

The unit has not been functional for a long time due to some technical reason.

Motorists had been complaining that there is no refill station on National Highway-8.

The authorities have already identified NH-8 as one of the sites for its 14 proposed CNG refill stations.
