The Nationalist Congress Party on Thursday announced names of 18 candidates in Maharashtra.

The list includes union minister Praful Patel, state PWD minister Chhagan Bhujbal and former deputy chief minister Vijaysinh Mohite-Patil.

The party has retained 7 out its 8 sitting MPs including party chief Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule.
Pawar himself won’t be contesting. Mohite-Patil will be NCP candidate in his Madha constituency.
Southern actress Navneet Rana will be party’s candidate from Amravati constituency. She is married to Ravi Rana, an independent MLA from Amravati.
The party is yet to decide on a candidate opposite senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde from Beed constituency.
