Born on September 14, 1954 at Jaipur, Mahesh Joshi, has been a Congress member since his induction into politics. He has been active in organisational affairs. Between 1988 and 1991, Mahesh Joshi worked in the party organisation as president of the Rajasthan Congress Sewadal. He has also been a spokesman of the Rajasthan Congress Committee.
